Time for some relief? Mt. Le Conte is calling? Le Conte Lodge atop Mt. Le Conte in the Smoky Mountains is the perfect getaway. No electricity, no phones, no access except by foot. Supplies are even carried in by llama. Scrumptuous meals, warm bunks and chatting with friends, it's the perfect place to unwind.

After a rib-splitting dinner fit for a king, and before lighting the lantern for the evening, time to head to Cliff Tops to try and catch the sunset.

After a hearty breakfast, it's time to head back down to civilization!
After a brief rest at Alum Cave Bluffs, it's on down the trail....
Back to the parking lot....maybe I could just start up again....but no that will have to be another day, another time when again the stresses of daily life once again call me back to the mountaintop!
