Mother's favorite. The Violet - the Flower of February
Spirea
This Spirea originated in my childhood home and was planted by my grandmother (or possibly great grandmother) and probably planted sometime in the early 1900's.
After I moved from this childhood home, I took this Spirea and 3 clumps of Peonies and transplanted them from home to home....8 times! Here they are growing at my present home.
These flowers have been part of my family and have traveled across generations for over a century.
Peony
I love the Spirea. I'd love to have one of those bushes.
ReplyDeleteOK, what do I do with the Peonies? I think I waited to long, but there is still some life in them. I looked online but found nothing of use. What next? Thanks!
